The original large copper engraving of birds - "Ducks and Pigeons" was created by Frederick de Wit in 1675. 

Two ducks and two doves are depicted on the side of the plate in two pictures, one below the other. From: Lumen picturae et delineationis. This is a drawing reference book containing over 100 templates by famous artists, created without text.

This is an antique made using copper engraving technique in the 18th century.

Such engravings were often created as illustrations for books or for decorative use.
